Law Library
Newton County Law Library
The Newton County Law Library is available to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The law library is located on the second floor of the Judge Horace J. Johnson, Jr. Judicial Center.
The purpose of the law library is to provide public access to the law through the convenience of the latest technology. There are two computers in the law library to access Westlaw online, state laws and forms regarding child support guidelines, and word processing. A printer is also available.
A number of hardbound subscriptions, such as the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, as well as family law, criminal procedure, civil practice, business and finance, and real estate and litigation hornbooks, among others, are available. A copier and printer is located in the law library for public use.
Books are not allowed to be checked out of the law library.
Walton County Law Library
The Walton County Law Library is available to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The law library is located on the second floor of the Walton County Government Building.
