Effective July 1, 2025, the Alcovy Circuit Superior Court Judges (Newton and Walton Counties) will no longer have a court reporter present for civil calendars. Anyone desiring to have a civil matter taken down will be responsible for contacting the court reporter and making arrangements.
Requests for Judge Zon’s official court reporter must be made at least 5 business days in advance. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance; cancellations for a Monday calendar must be made by the preceding Thursday. Failure to cancel on time may result in a cancellation fee of $100.00 if no other parties on the calendar have made arrangements for the court reporter’s presence.
